Nena was born and raised in Durango, Mexico.

After studying to become an engineer, she came to the US to pursue her dreams. What she didn’t know was that life had something different planned for her. She married and had two wonderful children, leaving behind her professional career to be a full-time mother. She found passion for writing through her two little ones as well as her inner child, who was always with her as she grew up.
