Ms. Nina comes from a tradition of oral storytelling passed down from her native caribbean ancestors. She was a classroom teacher for over 10 years before becoming a librarian in 2016.  Originally from upstate NY, Ms. Nina lived in Hawaii for 5 years and has been in Austin since 2021. She loves to share her love of reading and storytelling with her community, and her other interests include: dancing, riding bikes, eating tacos and teaching people how to swim!
