Shannon Kehoe has been an educator for 16 years– first as a bilingual 4th grade teacher in AISD schools. Later, as a graduate student at UT Austin, she taught and supported preservice teachers and engaged in research on bilingual education, with an interest in teachers’ storied lives and pedagogies. Shannon has returned to elementary schools, but this time, as a librarian bilingüe. At Sanchez Elementary Shannon has the pleasure of helping collect, find, listen to, share, and create stories with amazing students in grades PreK – 6. Outside of school, Shannon enjoys reading and inventing stories with her daughter, Valentina, and husband, Camilo.
